Returns & Refunds Policy

At ANJ Appliances (ANJ Appliances & Outdoor Living) we know things happen, that’s why we offer a 30‑Day No‑Hassle Returns/Exchange Policy. If you need to return an item for any reason within 30 days of delivery, you can do so by paying return shipping and any applicable restocking fee (see below). All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorizatio (RMA).

Install after inspection. Please schedule installation only after your items arrive and you’ve fully inspected them.

Return Eligibility & Window (30 Days)

  • You may return new, unused, unassembled products in like‑new condition with all original inner/outer packaging, parts, manuals, and accessories within 30 days of delivery.
  • Returns must have an RMA issued by ANJ Appliances. Items returned without authorization, without original packaging, or outside 30 days may be refused or assessed additional handling.

Not Eligible for Return

  • Items that are used, installed, assembled, fueled, or show wear.
  • Custom‑made, special‑order, or made‑to‑order items once in production.
  • Items marked non‑returnable, clearance, or warehouse deals on the product page.
  • Requests made after 30 days from delivery.

Restocking Fees (Condition‑Based)

  • Standard returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee (assessed after inspection, based on condition and completeness).
  • If a product shows visible wear/use or is missing parts/packaging such that it cannot be re‑sold as “new,” it will be classified as refurbished and a 40% restocking fee will apply.
  • Any services (expedited shipping, white‑glove, assembly, appointment, accessorials) are non‑refundable.

Return Shipping Costs & Outbound Freight on “Free Shipping” Orders

  • For standard returns, you are responsible for return shipping.
  • We also deduct our original outbound shipping cost from refunds on orders that initially shipped free.
  • If a shipment is refused for reasons other than verified carrier damage or our error,

    return freight and restocking will apply.

How to Start a Return (RMA)

  1. Request authorization within 30 days of delivery:
    • Email Sales@anjappliances.com with your order #, item(s), reason, and photos (outer/inner packaging and item).
    • Or call (954) 504‑5310 (Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET).
  2. We’ll send your RMA, instructions, and (if applicable) a prepaid label or Bill of Lading (BOL) for freight.
  3. Ship back within 30 days of RMA approval.
  4. Freight returns: before authorization, provide a quick photo of the product securely repacked and palletized (helps protect against damage on the way back).
  5. Pack carefully in original inner/outer cartons with all parts and manuals. Damage from inadequate repacking may reduce or deny refunds.

Do not send returns to our office without an RMA. Return addresses vary by brand/warehouse.

Damages on Products (On Arrival)

If your order arrives damaged, you can choose a replacement or a full refund—we’ll cover related shipping—provided:

  • You report damage within 24 hours of delivery and
  • You note the damage on the freight delivery receipt before signing (see scripting below).

How to report damage (within 24 hours):

  • Take photos of the damaged item(s) and outer carton/pallet with the shipping label visible.
  • Email sales@ANJappliances.com with photos and your order #.
  • If you see visible damage at delivery, either refuse the shipment or write “Damaged” on the receipt before signing. If you cannot fully inspect, write “Subject to concealed damage” and sign.

Important: Please do not sign the delivery slip until you have inspected packaging. If the receipt has no damage notation or damage is reported after 24 hours, ANJ may not be responsible for replacement or repair.

Missing Items (Shortages)

Please notify sales@ANJappliances.com within 24 hours of delivery if items or parts are missing. Include photos of the open box and packing materials.

Lost Packages (Carrier Shows “Delivered”)

If tracking shows Delivered but you did not receive the item, notify us within 2–5 days of the carrier’s Delivered scan. We’ll open a carrier claim. Reports after 5 days fall outside our claim window and ANJ will not be responsible for missing claims after that timeframe.

Exchanges

Prefer an exchange instead of a refund? Let us know during the RMA request. Exchanges follow the same eligibility/packaging rules; price differences and shipping may apply.

Defective Items & Manufacturer Warranties

Most products include a manufacturer’s limited warranty. We’ll assist you through that process.

To start a warranty claim:

  • Confirm you are within the warranty period.
  • Provide serial number(s), a description of the issue, and photos/video.
  • Our team may troubleshoot to confirm a defect; we’ll help file a claim with the manufacturer.

Remedies & timing:

  • The manufacturer decides the remedy (parts, repair, replacement) and timeline. Some items/parts may need to be returned for quality review.
  • Labor, trip charges, and project delays are not reimbursed by ANJ or most manufacturers.

Out‑of‑warranty:

  • We can often source replacement parts or a replacement unit for purchase (availability not guaranteed for discontinued items).

Freight Return Packaging & Pickup

  • Freight returns are curbside pickup unless otherwise arranged.
  • Items must be fully repacked in original inner/outer cartons, securely strapped and palletized.
  • We’ll provide a BOL and pickup window; missed pickups may incur carrier fees.

Your Own Carriers / Freight Forwarders

If you choose to use your own carrier or export via a freight forwarder, ANJ is not responsible for damage, defects, loss, or delays after we deliver to your carrier. We cannot provide replacements or refunds for items shipped on your own account, and ANJ should not be listed on export documentation.

Refund Timing & Method

After your return arrives and passes inspection, refunds are issued to the original payment method. Posting time varies by bank and payment type—typically 3 days to 2 weeks from the refund issuance date.
